Election and Spooky Season Newsletter 2024

With all the energy, organizing, and get out the vote efforts we decided to send out another newsletter!! We know we are all doing our part to organize against some of the really spooky things out there! That said we hope you take care of yourself and find enjoyable moments this Halloween and last push towards election day!

Remember we have our 2024 voter guide as pinned Instagram posts here: https://www.instagram.com/coloradoyoungdemocrats/p/DA_bXntOPAk/?hl=en&img_index=1 If you have friends or family overwhelmed about the ballot you can tell them they don't need to do it all. Some people don't know they can just vote for some issues and candidates. If they want help with more though they can look towards a trusted organization like us for what they have to say!

We had an inspiring, energetic, and fun time connecting at our "Superheroes of Democracy... And Other Things" Fundraiser!

Our 2024 Superheroes of Democracy are:

Stephanie Bowman - the Legacy Member award, Howard Chou - the Young at Heart Ally award, Jeremi Medina - the Sparkler award, and Misha Smith - the Young Democrat of the Year award.

Congrats to our award winners and thank you, our volunteers, our attendees, our allies, and our sponsors for all that you do!

We heard quotes from people that night like ; "this was way more fun than homecoming was this year. " and "It is nice to meet new leaders and see leaders that we may not have seen in person in awhile. " Interested in learning more about the event can download the event program by clicking below!

The day after the Halloween Party we had a Day Of Action in Colorado Springs helping out youth champion candidates like Steph Vigil and The Young Dem running for congress, River Gassen! Text banking, door knocking, and good breakfast food and coffee was enjoyed on Saturday!

Thank you El Paso Young Dems for organizing and hosting!

Thank you again to all our members, allies, and leaders working hard to help win elections and positive change!
